What model is that JS100 or JS1000?

Hi,

I came on a nice offer for this guitar and consider buying it.
Could you verify if that's JS100 or JS1000? I'm not sure what the bridge is from these pics, but the logo on JS1000 is gold and on JS100 is silver and the pickups on JS100 are all black, am I right? Of course sb could have swapped pickups but if the bridge and the guitar is oryginal the guitar would be worth its price.

...and I believe JS1000 came with the Lo-Pro Edge. The guitar looks like a JS1000 to me, but someone put an original Edge in there. (nice move IMHO)
Also check if the volume and tone pots are push-pull ones. If they are it is a JS1000, if they are not it might be a JS900 (although I am not sure if these came in that color).

I have a JS1000 and it came with an Edge Pro not a Lo-Pro, however the model has been in production for about 10 years so this could be an old one. Also my pickup rings aren't silver, the new JS100's are but usually the JS100 has a special inlay at the 22nd fret and chrome hardware rather than black.

It's a JS900

Same as a JS1000 I think, just has an Edge instead of Edge Pro. Really the ideal JS imo.

thank you I read everything, searched the net and I'm almost positive it's JS900,

is it possible to install highpass filter in it? is that some special pot or just any push-pull pot would be fine and everything is about wiring?

This.

Installing a high-pass is a matter of soldering in the right components (I believe it's a small capacitor). If you want one that swiched in and out, you'll need to get a push/pull pot or similar and if you have to ask about, is probably something best left to someone else.

That's a JS900 imo. The hardware and the trem is chrome.

Yeah I'd agree that's a 900, shame tbh, I don't see why people go mad over the original edge. I had one on a custom Jem I had built and hated it so badly I swapped it out for a lo pro edge.

The low pro cacks over the original edge from a great height. No joke.
Oh er... in my opinion, of course
