What to do with my 100
Hey guys, I have a
js100
that I got about 6 months ago. When I got it the pickups had been swapped for a mojo and a paf joe. I just had the frets leveled. I want to save money but im tired of the lo trs. I had a gotoh for it but my tech said the trs was staying in tune, and it was. But I cant abuse it at all. So should I replace the bridge or sell it and get another rg?

Re: What to do with my 100
Oh another thing with the trs is that it doesnt have much sustain at all. If I got a OFR it should increase my sustain and tone...right?

For all the money you're putting into the JS 100, why not just get a JS 1000 or 1200? It's like putting high end Pirelli tires on a 1989 Mercury Topaz. It just doesn't make sense.

Re: What to do with my 100
Did you read any of that? The only thing I did to is was a fret level. I dont have 1000 dollars for a js1000. This would be a 100-150 dollar upgrade.

No need for the attitude. I was merely making a suggestion. You were talking about selling it anyways, and if you spent just a little more after selling it, you could easily upgrade to a JS 1000. This JS 1000 went for $740, including a Satriani strap and Vox Satchurator pedal (!!!!):

This one went for $860:

This one sold for $725:

Do yourself a favour and drop the Gotoh in it. So much better than OFR and it's got locking studs too.

I might do that, but I hate the arm holder.

You hate the arm holder? Jeez I think it's the best design out there. All the pros of the OFR and Edge design and none of the cons.

Re: What to do with my 100
Not to hijack this thread or anything, but could someone point me to this Gotoh trem that everyone raves about?
Thanks, -cp
