Where To Get JS1000????

Does anybody know where i can get a JS1000, in any color, i would like to have black or white, but whatever i can get my hands on, and also how much do you think a JS1000 would go for? And if i cant get one what about a JS100 and swap to a Edge/LoPro Edge? Worth it????

Please post your location but...you know the best place is just there  in the classifieds. As to the JS100, I would just refrain if I was you as you can get a JS1000 used for a few dinero more and gain in quality.

JS1000

Go here:

http://www.ibanezrules.com/new/js1000bp.htm

Scroll down near the bottom and activate the "Get Quote" link for the price on a new JS1000.

I agree with the others that you should definitely go with the JS1000 if at all possible.

Best Regards,

Mike.

First of all, I'm not opposing anyone of the above but there's something's hidden.

The quality of the 2003 JS 100 is just fine. I've owned one 2000 JS 100, one 2003 JS 100 and I've got my 2003 JS 1000BSB today, I don't think there's a big difference. Of course I don't mean the components like pickups and the specially treated neck.

May be time will tell about the extend of the tear-and-wear of the necks, but, for just now, it's fine. And there's price drops on both models, so consider well before making decision.

my 2 cents

Well, in my modest opinion it kinda does add up a bit. That is, the better pickups and especially the nicer bridge add up to a significantly better guitar. I've played both and believe there is a tangible difference between the two. And besides, I just -hate- the name plate thing on the neck! I think it's very cheesy.

best regards,

Mike.

i played a js100tr once and must say it struck me as a good guitar, too... but 2 minutes later i played a js2000cg and gotta say its FAR BETTER.

it just feels more comfortable, the hardware works smoother and above all: it sounds SO much better!

now if you wanna play with the whammybar, there's no way for the js100 unless you are a very unexperienced guitar player... and consider one fact:

if you buy a js1000 now, you'll keep it.
if you buy a js100 now, you'll someday buy a js1000 anyways.
