Year dating JS6000 - no clue - one of only 2 years, right?

With no model designation and a 4-digit serial #, how do we know the year of manufacture of a JS6000? The new owner is a Jackson guy and doesn't believe it is a 6000 since it doesn't SAY so anywhwere. Did these come from the factory with any kind of sticker on the headstock like the rest of the Ibanez instruments from this era? Could anyone tell me where I can get some literature or a spec sheet(I'd love to buy any old catalogs as well)for this model. He needs to shut up and just play the thing or I'll have to confiscate it from him. Thanks. * * * * * *Z

Is this the 6000TR from **** again? The only year they made it was 94'. What's ther plate # and does it have the J prefix? Model stickers are cheesy, you won't find them on any Japanese sig models, only Korean.
