-URGENT- How do I tell cracks from scratches

Please help! theres a... blemish of somsort on the binding of the neck near the headstock on my new Ibanez RG350DX and im hoping its just a scratch.

any help would be much appritiated!

if it's a crack You'll more than likely be experiencing tunning problems, if it's a scratch, everything else at a glance should be in order.
