What style music do you play, what shape guitar do you like, what neck do you like. Specific Brand ???

I second that. RG550 all the way. One of the best damn guitars I've ever played. All you need is a pickup change and you're there. Plus, with the new RG series (2550, etc), you can't get the Edge or Lo Pro trems, which are superior in my opinion.

i'll narrow it down a bit.... i like metal, shred, prog rock and others, but mainly those three. I want a guitar that i wont need to have work done on every week becuz the tremolo is broken or w/e
