15th Anniversary of the RG(in Japan at least)

Well, I don't know if we'll see any of these over here, but they look nice:

Is it me, or do these look like they even have the old neck heel, and headstock logo? Black hardware too, killer..

Matching colored headstocks, and the return of a few *nice* finishes.. I'm very tempted by that Jewel Blue RG570J, I always wanted one in that color. Too bad the RG7xx series didn't debut until '88, otherwise I'd be drooling over a new model year RG750 too...

Happy 15th to the RG!

Just to let you guys know, here's a little translation concerning the pics.

"Photographs shown are of the original models. Specifications of the 550J/570J reissue models may differ slightly."

But it sure is nice having them back as anniversary models!

There are few things that I think look siller than an Ibanez RG rosewood freatboard without the old-school shark-tooth inlays.

I dunno...if you're going to being them back....than do it true to the original models.
