2003 signature and other Info

this just in from my source

Confirmed for 2003:

Mike Mushok signature model
Noodles (Offspring) signature model

Also a line called the "Jet King", designed to appeal to "garage rockers".

I glanced at the MSRP list, but couldn't get a copy. everything looks extremely reasonable, and we will be getting the RG1550 and RG1570 in the US, as well as a Prestige RG1620X (old RG620X) but there was no through-neck models other than the current RGT3120 on there that I could see.

I could be wrong, because I didn't have time to analyze everything.

Mike Mushok signature model? Don't like Staind much but I hope they make his guitar available in natural finish, it looks quite nice

Will there be an Andy Timmons model? I read somewhere that there will be an AT100 model, but I've also read somewhere else that it's already available, but only available in Japan (although the Japanese site doesn't show it).

I've only seen one AT100 for sale used, and for some reason it's really expensive, 320,000 yen [about $2750]

I think I remember Andy saying that only 50 of those AT100s were made. I hope his new model will be available here in the states.

But I'll keep dreamin...

how does it look? is it the one with the angled-jack on the face of the guitar like the S-series?

This isn't a fresh memory, but it reminded me exactly of a sunburst Strat with just slightly pointier horns, with the pointy headstock. Maple board, natural head, h/s/s or s/s/s, I don't remember.

Yup, that color is really saturated though, it's a little more subtle than that

Oh, back on topic!

An MM sig? If it's the barritone Radius bodied one I can't see many people disapointed

No Andy Timmons model, at least for the US. This was a US dealer list, and that's one of the things I was looking for and didn't see. I also didn't see the really cool neckthrus, like that RGT3020 and RGT2020OL.

Another thing:

My source gets the new catalog with pics within the next few days. If I can get my hands on it I will. Otherwise I will describe what I see the best I can.

Damn. I'm trying not to buy any more solidbody electric guitars. If a Mushok signature model does indeed become available, with an oiled mahogany body and long scale, i may have to bend my "no more solidbodies" rule to accommodate a baritone!

the Mushok model is on the MSRP list for the US, and is noted in the cover letter. It definitely will be there. The exact specs is up for grabs though, but I would assume it would be relatively close to his model that he's been using.

p.s. I bought the Staind MTV2 Unplugged DVD today: totally cool!!!
