'77 Ibanez Hollowbody - model number??

I found this 1977 Ibanez Hollowbody guitar and was wondering if anyone would have some info on the model number. *If I understand correctly, the Artist hollowbodies weren't actually started until '79. *It isn't an es-335 copy model, but the shape is exactly like on of the current artist hollowbody guitars. *It's a walnut type finish with tune-o-matic and triangular bridge tailpiece, more like a solidbody artist of the time. *I'm pretty sure this is just a numbered model like the 2640, but as for the exact number, I'm not sure. *Sorry I don't have any pictures, but I'll try to get those soon. *

'77 Ibanez Hollowbody

Swirl-
Check out the site below. *If it was made by Ibanez, this guy knows all about it.

www.vintageibanez.com
(check out JD's section)

And do yourself a favor- pick up JD's CD-book "Guitar Design, Production & Repair". *You can't put a dollar value on the info contained within.
