A weird thing noticed in Back of RG...

hey...In the back of my rg, it has the lo-trsII trem just for future reference, when you take the back trem plate cover off, you will notice the 2 Screws, and 3 springs setup.yes. but i always heard that when you turn 1 of those screws in the back, that you have to turn them evenly to get it right. btw, here is where my confusion starts, the screw that messes with my Low E, is MUCH lower than my high E screw. And while i do mess with the screws and get the bridge parallel on both sides, i get this FUNKY looking thing in the back. That metal thingy that the springs go into is all slanted and crooked because one screw is tighter into the wood in the back than the other. i hope you guys understood me, because it is a little confusion, if anyone could help me out here i would greatly appreciate it.

The claw should be even on both sides of those two screws. If it isn't make it so.

i can't because...hmmm this is hard to describe...you know how the screw has those ridges around it? like so its possible to screw it into the wood? Then the screw has this smooth steel part so you cant screw it in anymore. well one of the screws and a long metal part and you cant screw it in enought to get the claw even. If i get the screws at the back at same height and claw even the bridge wont be parallel. i really dont know if you guys understood what i said

It sounds like your springs might be too loose. If you can't tighten the claw in any more, you could either try clipping a coil or two off the springs to get more tension back, or put in a new set of springs. The claw should be parallel with the back edge of the trem cavity.

Just because the threads stop on the screw does NOT mean it will not screw in any more. It's virgin wood [wasn't drilled deep enough] but it WILL screw in further.

ok i screwed the screw that messes with the LOW E all the way in. And i have the bridge parallel. Now on the high E, in the back of the guitar, the screw is not even barely screwed in. The Low E screw is very into the guitar but the High E is so not screwed in. The bridge is bend back into the body of the guitar on the High E side just a little bit yet on the E side its parallell. I think the guitar Tech who did my setup when i brought it in, lowered the action on the unwound strings by tightening the stud on the action so the Low E string side would be higher. i dont know heres a pic how it looks
