All you rg421 owners/spectators

i havent had a chance to see the guitar in real, so i was just wondering if the royal blue finish had sparkles in it or it was really shiny... i saw some pitures online but you know what they're like compared to the real thing..

Kinda OT, but yet not considering it will work with the 421:

Graphtech has a new piezo system that has the acoustic thing going (obviously), but also has a piggyback system available for GK compatible systems, using the piezos for sensing and converting the vibrations. Basically an RMC system that's probably cheaper and easier to implement.

And you can get saddles for the 7 string fixed bridges. That would be cool: a 27" RG7421XL with piezo and synth output. Weird, but cool!

Polaris, I had the system installed on my RG421. Contact Marty at Graphtech if you want some answers but the saddles fit perfectly and it soudns great.

However, I wanted a neckthru guitar, hence thats why im selling the RG, but man did it ever sound nice. Fixed bridge + piezo's = thumbs up!

You had the synth one? How well does it track?

No, I have the GHOSY piezo's from them. The Synth is a snap on mod, but im just saving my pennies to order that, but it sounds SO cool!

The cost is 250+ plus some switches and I'd need to route the guitar. THEN, Id need a MIDI guitar interface and those arent cheap at the moment. Im looking at over 500$ to get midi capabilities which at the moment is kinda steep. I have a keyboard for that kidna stuff as well.

However, the thought of playing the cello or violin on my guitar sounds VERY promising.

The graphtech Ghost Piezo's sound awesome. MArty gave me a GREAT deal on everything and im more then happy, however the installation can be tricky first time around!
