Paul Gilbert, and Steve Vai, what guitar is Andy playing?
It the sunburst one he uses for just about the whole thing. Its an Ibanez, I know that, but am I wrong or is that one of those really cheap ibanez? It looks like one of those beginner guitars that the Pawn shops are littered with.
Anyways, I was just wondering, because I was REALLY digging it, and his tone thoughout the whole thing. Which laney amp was it? it looked like the VH but I couldn't tell for sure. I really liked Paul's tone too, that twangy, presence-y laney tone ( I literally crave that tone, luckly I have an old 80's Laney AOR to get those tones with, hehe)
Steve's tone and performance wasnt' too exciting. Andy undoubtably rocked that show, and I thought Paul was cool too, he's always cool.
What I want to know is, was that one of the cheapo Ibanez? or was it a special high end model that is discontinued? and what Laney was he using?
