Another question on Edges'

Hate to bug you guys so much about this again, but I have a simple question.. I am pretty sure of it, but just want to double check.. and couldnt find it with search

Can you retrofit a normal Edge with a Edge Lo-pro? Using same studs/etc?

I might just keep my normal Edge for now, and make my custom routed with that, then when I can finally find a good Lo-pro, I'll just switch it.. would that work?
