The floyd rose patent ran out a couple years ago (2002 I think); Ibanez no longer has to put "licensed by Floyd Rose" or whatever it is they used to put on the Edge and Lo-Pro edge.

Short answer: yes.

Longer answer: Does it work? Because that's all that matters. The name is just a name, and means nothing. All that matters is that it feels right, it stays in tune, and works how it's supposed to.
