Another "What the Heck is WRONG with People??" Thread

What is it that motivates people to destroy collectible guitars? I'm not talking about swapping pickups or putting a new pickguard on. I'm talking about the voluntary destruction of a LIMITED PRODUCTION collectible guitar???? It's one thing to just play it and get normal wear and tear. I respect that. I don't agree with it for a collector's piece, but I RESPECT it. But to take a NEW RG 20th RFR and attack it with 200 grit sandpaper?? OMFG. I just don't get it.

To see the carnage, check out auction #320187525731. You've been warned.

So not only do you destroy the collectors value of a sweet guitar, but then you look at it and go, "Eh. I don't think I really want that guitar anymore..." and put it up for sale??? There should be a law...

I like the quote, "No defects or hidden problems." He even sanded all the color off the headstock!!!!!

Sorry. I was so stunned by the horrific display of stupidity that I forgot to do a search first. My apologies.

Mods, feel free to delete or move.

Well.....justice would be served if NO-ONE bought it and he was stuck with it!!

But......someone will

I wonder if it was someone who registered on RG20th.com!!

It still works,what's the problem?
The headstock sanding is abit crap though.
Actually I think everyone should bash up their 'collector' guitars. Those things,as nice as they make me sick

I assume he knows it was a mistake, as the price is a bit less than a minty one. Anyway, one thread is enough.
