Any Ibanez guitars in H-S configuration?

I just thought how practical this could be... Since a middle single coil would, for most people, take up space and be screwed all the way down.

So, do they exist?

Wow. I'm not alone!! H-S is the best. Shame there's hardly any Ibanez guitars around with this config.

Yeah, the maple fretboard version is the "normal" 565. The 565 with sharktooth inlays has become known as the "565 Prototype". Very rare. I prefer the maple and coloured dots but both are cool. A 565 in Road Flare (and minus the tone knob) would be perfect, pretty much.

Nope, unfortunately not. This one sold on e-Bay last year. It was the only DY "Prototype 565" I've ever seen and if I'd had the cash I would have snapped it up without a second thought.

The reverse headstock version looks sweet! That would be a great choice for a reissue. I would buy it.

Here's a customized version with the mid pup filled I started as a project and eventually screwed up the finish. I hope to send it out and have the finish professionally done at some point. I only went with that color scheme because those are the parts I had ;laying around at that point. I'll probably rethink the colors when I get to finishing it eventually
