Any PGM90HAM owner?

Preview *
i've got a problem

i got PGM90
which is not second hand

the "f-hole" and the blinding of the body seem becoming yellow while the pickup and the neck blinding is still white

it is because those white parts are "yellowing" or
they should be in the colour like this? *

Wow. What a sweet guitar.

It looks like your clearcoat is yellowing, quite likely from exposure to sunlight and/or smoke.

Smoke was my first guess. That is a sweet guitar!

I should have my PGM90 today, maybe. I HATE USPS! 2 guitars were shipped last Monday, I got the first one Thursday, I'm still waiting for the 90. Shipped at the same time, ariving 4 to ? days later. Go figure.

Well, that was a bit off topic. But yeah, smoke or sunlight has to be your culprit...

Well Cody, the guy I'm getting the PGM from, took very detailed pics of it before he sent it. I didn't see any yellowing. I'll let you know when I get it.

Other than those 2, the only other thing is a problem with the clearcoat. I've never seen a PGM90 with this problem. But then again, you don't see too many PGM90's. I feel for you though, that's kind of a bummer...

Maybe the online store had it sitting in a window with the sun hitting it for the last 2 years...

Personally if it's brand new and was sent to you with the yellowing then I'd return it and ask for a replacement.
We pay so much money nowadays that we deserve the best IMHO.

Nope, I don't have them on my hard drive. Just in an email.

Check Rich's site. He has a couple of nice pics that show what one should look like in his Gallery.

I'd ship it back too. It's not supposed to look like that...

I looked at the pics on Rich's site and you know, the sound ****
thingies look cream on that one as well, DEFINATELY not as white as the pickups in either picture.

I think if it is new and the F holes are starting to fade I'd ask for my money back quick smart. If they will give you back your money tell them that they sold you a defective product and that you want part of the money back. If that doesn't work you could alway burn their house down or something.... Oh wait that's illegal isn't it???... Oh yeah that's right.. Either way I still think it looks hot.

The reason they may look that way on Richs site is the lighting hes using to illuminate the guitar...

OK, I finally got mine today. Nice guitar!

The F Holes and body binding are not true white. They are more of an ivory. The binding on the neck is white. I don't know if it's the clearcoat causing the ivory or if the paint and binding is ivory but they don't match the pickups or knob.

I still don't find that a problem, I can't take my eyes off all that abalone...
