anybody heard of RG685?

i know there is a RG680 but a friend is selling his RG685
does anybody have any idea about the specs of this guitar?
and if i were to buy it how much should i offer?

Seems to be same as a RG570 type. Basswood body, rosewood over maple neck, HSH, Lo-pro, no pickguard. Was a japan only model i think.

I'd pay 350-450EUR for one, depending on quality. Otherwise, it is just an RG570 to me. Probably colors are different though. A little rare maybe.

if you know pls reply on this thread. i'm not sure if the thing has flamed maple top, quilted maple top or just veneer on it.

i have this guitar. i think that it has a basswood body with a veener flame maple top.

Uhm, if you see the holes for the pickups the edges where the pu gets screwed in are rectangles >> originally for v7/v8's, the dimarzio's have triangles.
and that's actually another difference with the 570's, it has directmount pu's, so i'd guess it's a bit higher model.

oh.. thanks dani!! lucky you bro! i'm looking for that guitar a long time now. i even thought it has maple top on it. but since it's has lo pro edge, that's a great guitar man. congratz!!

Does anybody have this guitar? I could get one for 400 EUR. Is it worth it? Is it similar to an RG680CM? I hope not, 'cause I've read that the neck of an RG680CM is unusually thin and feels really weird compared to other RG's.
