Are these new guitars any better ??

been looking around for a new guitar, and i noticed that the new lower end RG's have a new Lo-Pro trem and are made in Japan ?!!??!

is this correct ??? has anyone tried them ?? is the quality any better ??

There is a thread about the new trems, the new lower end RG's feature the Edge Pro II bridge, it has almost the same design as the Edge Pro, but: it isn't made of hardened steel and it will be less durable... That doesn't mean it isn't an upgrade over the lo-trs, they're okay value for money
