ATTN: UK RGT42FM Players.

Is the RGT42FMDR Available in the UK, Since I can only see the American Basswood body Species availble on the UK Website Portal (RGT42), where's what I'm after is the Mahogany back/Flamed Maple Top RGT42FM.

If any of you have seen this specific guitar in the shops over here please let me know, otherwise I'm going to have to go through the pain of importing it from my Stateside contact, which I'd rather not do this close to crimbo.

Cheers,
Spike.

is there really such a model? the specs i've seen all say basswood. some 'american', others just plain basswood.

the RGT42 is kind of mid-low ibanez model. MIK of course.

Could be a fake top, photo finish or something, like on the RG320fm

If you're concerned about the ligitimacy of the photo, you can check out it's source, at the USA portal for the Ibanez Website....

No such thing exist, they are all basswood.
Ibanez USA site is wrong and chancess are this FM thing is a veneer - better than a photo flame but nothing like a proper 1/3" maple top.

you are most definately wrong. the RGT42FM is Mahogony body with flame maple top, and neck thru.
