"Bad Horsie" Roadstar II

Swapped that old matte crappy black pickguard for a mirror one. Looks awesome. 3rd pic is what it looked like when I originally got it.

Too bad the Rocker bridge will never stay in tune, even with the slightest use. I'm thinking about going all the way with this guitar and installing an OFR, but the post width is different, and then I'd need a different neck with the right nut, not the behind the nut locking that this one has. I'm also thinking about swapping out the weak bridge pickup for a Rails.

We'll see. I may just block the trem and not use it at all, but I'm definitely going for the bridge pickup upgrade by my next string change.

Sorry if the links didn't work.

There's a seller on evilbay that sells pickguards for RG's and other guitars. He's out of Phoenix, AZ, USA. It was $35 shipped, but I had to supply a tracing.

I think it looks great, but I do agree that a "Rail" pickup would work great for for this guitar. Maybe a "Tone Zone" rail model...Good luck with your mods...
