Bare Knuckle Warpigs in my RG321

I had them installed in an afternoon for just £30 (for a whole re-wire including replacing the pots and jack socket). I seriously reccommend Beej Guitar Repairs for anyone within the Leeds vicinity. Great guy to deal with.

The pickups themselves sound great, they really sing and 'carry' what you're playing nicely. Not uber-trebly but very well-rounded and good all-round. And I've only played it through my Toneport settings...

I've been a big fan of Bare Knuckles for a while now. I've not bought any of the distresses finished ones though! You need to play that guitar hard until it is worn enough to match!

Ah trust me I've had that guitar for almost 4 years and the hardware has started to tarnish nicely! Plus the sweat from my arms has made part of the matte finish almost glossy...

As for distressed finish, the only options were distressed covered or black/white/zebra/cream open coil. In fact, I was gonna get some white open coil ones to save money but the bare knuckle site wouldn't dispatch to an address different to my card address, so I ordered from Axiomatic, which only gave the distressed covered option (but with short/long leg and 4 conductor option), and my order came straight from bare knuckle!

They have been doing undistressed chrome, black and gold covers but they're not an option on the site yet.

Also I reccomend the pots from highlystrung, had them installed and they're very smooth if not linear in action, also switchcraft jack sockets are v.good.

Quality guitar pickups. Cant recommend them enough. My Epiphone LP is kitted with BlackDogs.


I'm sure those sound "br00tlz" as they look.
