Best RG Fixed?

Hello,

What is the best RG Fixed series guitar (in your opinion)


I currently have an original RG550, RGXXV1 and RG470. Just love them all and just got wind of Ibanez having fixed bridge RG's as well. What fixed bridge RG is the closest I can get to an "RG550 or RG470?

The RG1451 will be closest to an RG550 with a fixed bridge.

And the RG471 is literally an RG470 with a fixed bridge.

The RG1451 will be the better choice due to it being a Prestige. Just go look at the Ibanez website and check out the RG Fixed and RG Prestige sections and see if anything tickles your fancy.

I recently got to play an RG1451, which IMO is the best fixed RG I've ever played. It's pretty much a fixed RG550 on that level of quality.

Those are great guitars, but IMO, the RGA121 or RGA321 are the best.

What's the word on the Ibanez SZ (fixed) guitars. Been reading a lot of great things about them.

I love mine! The stock pickups(Duncan Designed) need to be changed, but it rocks! I had a Crunchlab/Liquifire in it for a while that sounded killer but swapped those for a MoJo/PAF Joe setup for more of a classic/hard rock sound. It has a 25.1" scale and the neck profile is closer to a PRS neck. No tuning issues or other problems since I bought it new in 2007. Also the inlays vary between models(320, 520, 720), the year, and what country they were offered in, so you may want to shop around. The flaming squid inlays on my 720 are a little obnoxious.
