Sorry for my last post i never even introduced myself to you guys. My names Matt. My first guitar was an RG about 4 years ago. It was an RG3EX1. But lately Ive just been feelin it for a better guitar. So after lookin around i couldnt find anything I liked so in a bold move i decided to build my own RG. Its proving to be quite a challenge but in the end ill have a one of a kind guitar cuz i doubt anyone else had to sand down the heel of a body to get the neck to fit. But alas Ive done it and miraculously it worked. What you see here is he beginning. An RG570 body with a JD-craft 5pc
wizard prestige neck from an RG1570 prestige. Maybe my move was stupid but ive researched it and the reason it didnt fit was because older RGs like the body i have's heel was 2mm thinner than the neck wizard necks. But the RG1570 prestige is the new RG570. for 05 and on they gave it a new trem and that neck but everything else is the same. Look at these pics and i hope ull be as stoked as i am.
