Chrome Lo pro Edge?

For you guys that own Chrome Lo Pro or Original Edge Tremolo's. Does the chrome wear off of these like the gold ones? I have read that a lot of Jem7VW players don't like the gold hardware because it wears pretty quickly? Does this happen with the chrome trem's also?

Chrome is the most duarable of all the plated finishes.
