Chrome or Cosmo Black?

I just picked up a RG4EX from GC as a backup guitar. Going to make some pickup changes and got to thinking about the hardware. Would you leave it chrome or change it to cosmo black? I can't afford to chage the trem, so that's going to have to stay chrome either way.

Whatcha think?

I actually sorta like the chrome on that, the Cosmo might be too black. But I'm not really sure.... I would probably stick with chrome

I prefer cosmo black to chrome BUT have read many stories that it wears too quickly. So then you end up with somewhat chrome hardware after lots of use anyways.

It's probably more trouble than it is worth, plus there's something special about leaving a guitar as stock as possible, to me at least. Looks great! Just wipe that hardware down often to avoid pitting the chrome plating! Congrats on the purchase.

It's my first Ibanez. Not a shredder by any means. I actually picked up the guitar because I'm in a tribute act and needed wanted to sport the guitar. It's really grown on me.

I would leave it chrome. Chrome seems to last a lot longer than cosmo black on all of my guitars. Plus it looks classy .
