Closest hard tail to rg570

Please recommend the closest hard tail guitar to the rg570. Mine has the bubinga stripe neck. I love the wizard neck. I also want the hsh or hss pickup configuration, as i like to be able to get a stratty sound and a heavy sound. i play a huge variety, from van halen to van morrison, jazz and funk. I prefer maple fingerboards but it's not a must. i'm ready for a break from floyd roses.

i'm aware of the tremel-no, but i want more simplicity.

price: $350 used to $700 new.

thanks, jerry

He said he wants more simplicity, this would really just complicate things. Maybe not technically any harder to string, but I get where he's coming from as far as just wanting the flat-out simplicity of a hardtail.

I suggest maybe a 550/570 neck on a hardtail body, you can get the bodies really cheap on the bay. The neck is a slightly harder thing to get you hands or for cheap, but not impossible. It's what I would do, but I'm sure someone will have a more simple idea

Hmmm... RG570 shaped hardtail + maple board + HSH =

Ibanez PGM301

Admittedly you'll have to pay a little more than $700, but if you can stretch a couple of hundred more then you can definitely get a nice used one and for your money you get a Prestige Ibanez loaded with loaded with real DiMarzios and all the simplicity and versatility you can possibily need
