Color of PGM100JB

I have seen so many PGM100JB (original not a reissue.) here in Thailand got color faded. The blue turned to green. (more than 10 which have had this problem I have seen in the thai website classified.) Does anybody here know why and what made the color changes?

I have one which made in 1991. I put in the case most of the time. I just worry about the color. I dont want to let it changes! Please suggest.

You talking about the PGM100 or PGM200? I've seen a lot of the 200's fade to green, but not so many of the darker 100's. The 200's turn green because the clearcoat yellows, and blue + yellow = green.

I've never seen a Jewel Blue finished guitar turn green. I have an 89 RG with that finish, it's almost purple.

my pgm100jb is still bleu and have seen a lot of light and the pink is very pink still.so dont expect any problems.

I am now worrying about climate here. we have very hot and humid ... I see alot of PGM100 which blue turns to green here...

Lock it in the case .. forever ... :-)

were do you see a lot of pgm100's? i thought that model is a little rare

Hell, I live in Florida(talk about hot&humid!) and I've never seen a JB guitar turn green.

I wanna see some pics of these green PGM100s.

There are alot in used guitar shop in Bangkok, but mostly greenish ...
