Concerns on 87 Rg550

I have a 1987 RG550 in road flare red. I thought I had carefully examined it thoroughly before buying. I THOUGHT... Got her home and started cleaning her up and noticed two cracks. One on each side of the neck joint. Are these repairable, or should I be searching for a replacement body? It dont seem to affect her at all, but definately makes me worry. Its just one of those things that bother ya.

It's just the usual paint cracks if i'm not wrong. Nothing much to worry about.

thats normal.90% have it.

yep, it's because the finish is very brittle and it's a high stress area of wood. it's only a problem when the cracks are in the wood and start to screw up the body, like in vai's evo jem. that thing has a crack that reaches almost all the way to the trem cavity.

but yeah, it's fine.

nothing to worry about.a lot of early ibanez and the 777 jems have these cracks.if it bothers you that much give me your 550 ill have it lol

LOL! Cool thanks alot for the feedback, as long as its not gonna break off its fine with me...I just cant believe its really that common. funny because now that I know its there, ive been being much more easy on it.
