confused on trading these guitars..


hey, i have a PRS SE custom guitar that ive been trying to sell becuase well i basically just dont like it. ive been looking at deans and ibanez's and all those things... so someone i met yesterday wants to trade me 2 ibanezs, the rg470..and rg550, for my PRS...do you think its worth it?

If they're in good condition I'd say yes. But thats just my opinion, I'm not sure what the SE custom goes for used . . .

well i no mine brand new was like 530...550 range...but the 2 ibanez's are in good condition...no scratches,, nothing that can screw up the sound... they are nice but how are these to with sound and everything

I would say yes - assuming the condition is ok.

Not sure about the prices where you are but in the UK the PRS would have a similar shop price to the RG470 alone, so to swap that and 570 is a very good deal, imho.

Well, if it was me I'd do it in a second. I think PRS's are overpriced and not very comfortable and I LOVE RG's!
That's me though...
And 550's are legend!

If in good nick, definitely.

I like my PRS SE though. Another one on the way with a wide thin neck carve, and then I can decide which US model to get. Different strokes.
