Curious about ibanez parts price

Hello everyone, im looking to sell one of my guitars, a modded Ibanez RG350, because I need money.. Im thinking the best way to get money for this is to part it out and sell it, because I put Tons of money into it and no one is going to buy a $600 Ibanez RG350.. so I will most likely get more money parting it out. Can you guys tell me if this sounds about right for each part? in US money.

RG350 neck (tuners, blue pearl TRC, Great condition) - $180
Ibanez RG350 Body - $70
Blue pearl custom pickguard - $40
Dimarzio Evo bridge - $50
Dimarzio Evo Neck - $50
Dimarzio stock bridge - $25
Dimarzio Single coil (dp116 or something, I forget) - $50
Dimarzio stock neck - $25
Normal 350 pickguard - $20
lo-TRS II - $50
Jackson trem (jt90lp) - $50
Dimarzio locking clip-strap - $20
pearl knobs (qpart, blue abalone) - $20
normal knobs - $8
normal TRC - $5
HSC - $100

Does that sound about right? These would all be BIN prices on ****, or reserves.. Im hoping to get at least what I paid for it all, which is something around that much.. its a really good guitar/player just I am getting a custom built and need the money more than a guitar I hardly play due to my SZ taking over all my time til this custom.

i dont think you would get over 350 for the guitar..even though you did alot of upgrades to it, they dont sell that great on ****..i would definitely sell it in parts..some of your prices seem a little high to me..do those prices include shipping as well?

IMO, if you ****ed the guitar altogether, the most you would possibly get is 400 USD..thats including shipping and the case.

Re: Curious about ibanez parts price

You would get more that $400 if you parted it out..

I would part it out like this

Neck
Body with Pickguard
Pickups as a Set
Trem

then sell the rest as is and make it reasonable. You will make the bulk of your money on the neck, body, and pickups the rest is just icing on the cake.

Shoot me a PM for a shipped price to 44116 on that Trem.. I will more than likely take it if you can provide some pics so I can see the condition..

Dimarzio Evo Neck = More like 30$
Dimarzio stock bridge = fair
Dimarzio Single coil = 30$ is better
Dimarzio stock neck = fair
Normal 350 pickguard = SAy 15$
lo-TRS II = If your lucky you might get 50$
Jackson trem (jt90lp) = No opinion
Dimarzio locking clip-strap = 10$ is more realistic
pearl knobs (qpart, blue abalone) = No opinion
normal knobs = No opinion
normal TRC = No opinion
HSC = No opinion
That's what i would charge.

Re: Curious about ibanez parts price

I respect your opinion Zox, but then im losing like half the value of what I paid for all this, and some stuff I bought brand new, spent alotttttt on.. like the custom blue pickgaurd from terrapins, cost me around $70 with shipping, and the blue evo's were like $100 each.. Im already losing alot... Im not selling just to clean up my parts box, like most people.. im selling to regain money, therefor I need to get like at least what I mentioned in my initial post, weither it be on bay or somewhere, but im not trying to do bargins to make people happy.. Custom guitars cost ALOT of money lol I need at least a decent chunk from this

Re: Curious about ibanez parts price

Well, I paid $80 or so for the blue evos, and shipping was a good $20 after duty/custom to canada.

The prices im hoping to get are US.

I will take some pictures of the trem later.. im assuming you mean the lo-TRS II right? Im thinking maybe 55-60 shipped is fair?

you should search for the alot of the parts you're trying to sell and then save those auctions in 'my ****' and check back for what their final prices are. i seriously doubt you're going to get that much for a lo-trs 2.
