Custom RG350DX

I've seen some of those people who want a jem sound from one of these and I was thinking-"Why not just get a guitar that sounds amazing to you and get your own sound instead of copying someone else's?"

So... I bought the white rg in October (which was great for the price except the crappy trem (I'll get back to this). Since then I...

-put an awesome Seymour Duncan Distortion in the Bridge
-rewired the electronics some
-upgraded the volume pot to a 1 Meg that sounds amazing
-filed the frets some to even it out
-setup (intonation, trem height, action, truss rod)
-added a nifty pick holder on the headstock(for preferance)
-routed the guitar a little, only enough to allow the trem to pull up farther

Now... I want to change the tremolo. It's imperative that its some sort of floyd style trem (schaller, ping, ofr, gotoh, ibanez(preferred): any edge/zr)

Any suggestions/offers of a new tremolo?

I suggest you try a search for tremolo upgrades. This topic has been discussed many times. Not trying to be an ass, but this may get you the quickest results.

Thank you and no offense taken. I have already looked at a lot of them and some people say that an ofr will drop in and gotohs but not much about the edge/zr's. Just wanted to be cleared up.

For Christ's sake, bumping the thread every 15 minutes isnt going to get you an answer any sooner. When someone know something they'll post a reply, sometimes it takes more than an hour.

Oh Ryan, you're so totally right about this! And how can all those people make threads called New Guitar Day or NGD, someone's posted a thread with that name before! Maybe the original poster shouldve added his year of birth to the end of the thread name or something to distinguish it from yours huh ?
