D string breaks!!!

Hey I have an ibanez with an edge pro bridge and it keeps breaking the d string!!! a set of strings only lasts about 2 weeks and if I play frequent which i usually do it only lasts a week. The string breaks from the saddle. Ive tried every trick in the book, changed the saddle with a brand new one, changed string brand, set the guitar from the springs, moved the saddle forward all the way. PLEASE HELP its driving me nuts !!!! what should I do,,,, I cant contact Ibanez cos they dont have an e mail so What???? I use guage 9 strings...Its one of the best guitars Ive ever played and keeps in tune like a charm when set up correctly so as I said PLEASE HELP.(This has been going on for a long time!!!)

Usually that would be caused by a burr or a rough edge but if you have basically changed everything it does seem strange that it's still happening especially if your guitar is tuned to standard pitch. I would consider taking it to a tech.

the only thing i can think of is pick attack and your actual playing style, but wouldn't the high E and stuff break first then...?

Im preety wild on the strings,, I like to squeeze the tone out of em
but hey why always the D string why not the E or A or maybe the high strings cos I bend them savagely and they dont break!!! yesterday I changed the D saddle with the low E saddle and put a new set o' strings and weel see what happens on time. I talked to other musicians and none of them have ever experianced this!!! maybe Ill try goin hybrid strings .9-.46 if I cant solve it!!

I'm assuming you are loading the strings by cutting off the ball ends and clamping it? Have you tried doing it the other way round? just out of interest and see if it still happens.

Have you checked to see where the string breaks?
