dimarzio evolution on RG please answer me!!

I'm going to put a evolution bridge pickup on an ibanez RG350dx, but I've heard about normal pickups or F-Spaced, I'm not sure what of these I should use. Can anyone tell me what of these need?

F-Spaced, though the difference is marginal Do a search of the forums or have a look on dimarzio's own website and you'll see why.

thank you buddies, but I have discovered a bad thing.. the provider doesn't have F-Spaced evos.. :-(

I have been searching and many pleople says that F-Spaced isn't very important in the bridge position... what do you think? Should I buy it?. I'm from Mexico and it's very difficult to find this pickups in here, so I have to be quick... I'll apreciate your advice. Thank you

I don't think it's really important if it's F-spaced or if it's not. It will only look little bit different.

Well Measure, as it says, some older JEMs didnt have F space, its more based on the floyd rose/edge trem, how it spaces the strings at the bridge.

I know other online web site shipp to mexico... ex: Musician , Sam

I have standard spaced pups in my RG (evo2 and Air Norton) and they sound great. I remember reading somewhere (this forum?) that because the magnetic fields are curved, it'll still pick up the strings fine, just the F spaced was made to be a little more spot on. However, I say with confidence that standard spacing, when installed correctly, sounds great anyway

Nice RG and nice family chef21!, I saw your 350dx. I wanted to put white evos, but I only could find black ones... At least I won't miss the original colors hehe

EVO's are kind of like a EMG 81 they have mega cut and presence and are real tight.
I like em a lot but you have to be a real decent player technically since they will not cover up any mistakes, they actually will pronounce them.

Re: dimarzio evolution on RG please answer me!!

Many ppl and even Dimarzio site says the same thing: The evos aren't for begginers, they don't forgive mistakes... I'm not so good yet hehe. I guess I'll find out soon becuase they arrive today!!

Evo users, why do you think (or what's the reason) that the evos have such reputation? Any comments?

Sorry for my english, I'm not a native english speaker you know hehe :-)
