VSL- Vital Silver
Honestly, I'd love to hear you telling us you've found a nice 3120. For me that would be the next step in your collection. You already have some great guitars, now it's time for some flamey maple goodness on top of a nice chunk of mahogany....
Well, I got it.
Add it to my list.
Couldn't afford even a used 3000 series right now, but for $450 with case, and all case candy, I'll give up a few trips to the shoe store and makeup counter.
Just a few dings, and on the high E side near the pups you can see where the 'bumpy' is worn almost flat from the previous owners pick hand rubbing, but it's still beautiful.
I'll get some pictures up soon.
It feels a little strange on my skin, but I'll get used to it I'm sure. Plus the lack of a pickguard does give for a different feel. Something else to get used to.
LOVING this neck!
It's so thin!
Frets aren't even bad. I was able to get really good action with almost no buzzing... of course I don't like really low action, so I'm sure if I went all the way down as low as some of you guys like it, it would be a buzzy mess.
My Fiance is looking at a Fender American Standard Strat in Black.
With a rosewood board.
He swore he'd never get rosewood, but actually likes mine now... plus: he'll have to catch up. Counting my Yamaha acoustic I have four guitars to his one. LOL
Sorry, digression over...carry on....
