That's an STW doubleneck- they came out a few years ago in "limited" numbers. 6-string on the bottom, 7-string fixed bridge on the top.

I've had (3) of the S540-TNs (black, white and, currently, Ruby Red). That's basically the same guitar without the binding and with a 12-string in place of the 7-string neck. They came out in the early 90's.

I saw one of those but with a 12 string on top...
Definently an S series.

I saw one second hand for AUS $1200 (approx $700US) around 8 or so years ago. It was in good condition too. But back then I was a school student with no income and could not persuade my dad to spend that much money on something he thought was a waste of money.

If I saw one for that price and in the same condition today I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Here are pics of the Ruby Red S540TN that I currently have and the black one that I had prior. Couldn't find any pics of the white one though.

Yeah...I've got too much stuff in general I've got the UVMC sweatshirt, t-shirt and a couple of straps-the full set!

My horde o' stuff is slowly thinning out though- it's getting down to the "keepers" finally. My goal is to have around a dozen guitars by the end of the year. Don't know if it'll happen or not, but...I aim to give it a shot!

I love those S doublenecks... the 12/6 ones, anyway. 7/6 just seemed kinda pointless to me. Ibanez did a great job on that headstock. Getting 12 tuners on a nice compact headstock with nearly straight string pull is very impressive.
