Hey, i noticed on the UK ibanez site has replaced the RG2550e (with edge pro bridge) with the rg2550Z (with edge-zero bridge)

can anyone tell me whats going on, is the edge pro equiped guitar no longer available?

and what trem would you prefer?

Yes the EP has been replaced on RG models 2000+ (ie RG2550) but not the RG1000 series, those still have the EP. It will not be used on the signature guitars except the E-Gen18.

Most likely the new trem Vai is working on with Ibanez will show up on his signature guitars and maybe even Joe's.

The new trems haven't hit the market place yet so you will be hearing more about them as they start hitting stores over the next month or so.
