Edge Pro II trem? Compared to older Edge?

I've been sold on the older Lo-Pro Edges that we have come to know and love, but after looking at these new Edge Pro II's that are being used on some of the RG3xx models (and others), I have to wonder how it compares to the original Lo-Pro Edge.

Has anybody any experience with the older ones and the new ones that can give me some real-world experience with them?

I played on one briefly last week...not bad. As I've read other mention, much better than the TRS it replaced, but not quite as solid as an Edge/Lo-Pro.
