Edge3 Replacement Tremolo

That's interesting, a number of people have said that the Edge Pro DID fit the Edge III cavity.

i had the chance to make some trem-to-cavity fitting experiment lately and i ended up with the following results:

• Edge/LoPro trem on EdgePro/EdgePro II cavity: NO

• Edge/LoPro trem on Edge-III: cavity: NO

• EdgePro/EdgePro II trem on Edge/LoPro cavity: YES

• EdgePro/EdgePro II trem on Edge-III cavity: YES

• Floyd Rose/Schaller trem on EdgePro/EdgePro II cavity: NO

• Floyd Rose/Schaller trem on Edge-III cavity: NO

Has the Edge III cavity changed over the years? or has it remainded the same?

I won't be needed to put a new tremolo in after all

Managed to get a preowned Prestige RG1570 (edge pro already in there obviously) for £215, only around £50 more than i would have ended up paying for an OFR or an edge pro anyway! (replacement stuff is more expensive over here)
