F1, F2 and F4
I'm gonna be putting an F1 in the bridge of my FGM100 and I noticed from the catalogs that this year (91) had an F2 in the neck.
Can anyone give me any comparisons on the F2 and the F4?
I had the F2 in the bridge and the F4 in the neck of my 770. Just curious if one is better than the other for the neck. Looking to get as close to the neck tone of Gilbert as possible.

Re: F1, F2 and F4
the f1 is more like a
paf pro
, f4 is like a fred without the harmonic overtones, and the f2 is like a low powered
tone zone
...right in between the air zone and tone zone, with less high end and smoother lows.
