FGM100 Frank Gambale model value?

Just picked up one of these - bone stock, in sky blue w/HSC. Didn't see any on e bay, or used on the net. Any idea of value? I like it, but might sell. Thanks!

check Ibanezrules.com -> used section.
there is one for sale and you can get a rough idea about the price too.

Yeah, I saw the one there for $1250, but Rich's prices seem a little high. I realize he goes over his guitars with a fine tooth comb, but the prices don't seem to fall within averages. So would I be out of line to figure around $900 - $1000 for one in decent shape but not mint? Guitar plays great, the thin body and sunk in pickups is kinda weirding me out.

Is it the signed model?

I picked up a mint, signed Yellow FGM100 w/ case a few years ago for $400.00. I mean mint! That was a smoking deal.

I'd say $700-900ish.

rich is a "dealer" hence his price will be higher than average joe. But i'd say somewhere around 800-900 should be a nice deal.

Gambale signed the initial release... like Vai did with the original Jems.

Ah, ok. Mine is the sky blue, and I don't think they made those first year. Pretty rare guitars, I've only seen this one in person and couldn't find any for sale on **** or anywhere other than ibanezrules.com.

It is. Plays great, just not sure if it's for me just yet. Fretwork and neck on this guitar is as good as anything I've played (jems, san dimas charvels, jackson soloists, wolfgangs, axis, etc)

Re: FGM100 Frank Gambale model value?

The action is sickly low on my FGM too. Very thin frets on these models but its does play nicely. I keep mine around mainly because the trem flutters better than anything else I own: Anderson (floyd rose), Jem90, UV777, EBMM Petruccis (I just sold off 1 of those; buh bye tuning hassles).

Dont get me started...
