Finished my Ibanez custom :)

Finished it up, I posted a ****load of pics of all the steps along the way.. So why not post a few of it finished?

It needs a few more coats of lacquer, but it's too cold for that **** so I'm waiting for the spring. I decided not to put the volume/tone on the front.. I've got an idea of what I kinda want, I have them on the back of the guitar.

You should get some of those flat knobs, or somehow adopt the sideways/roller idea for that guitar so that your idea can be novel rather than just pretty cool.

Other than that, it looks seriously sweet. I remember seeing Karl Sanders with a custom flame top V that had no controls whatsoever.. just plug in and play.. and it looked mean as all ****.

You could put the selector switch on the back. When a pretty lady walks by when your jamming you can switch pickups.

Pretty weird that the pots are on the back -wouldn't that be awkward and uncomfortable while playing live? Looks great though. You did a nice job!

Love the finish, I don't understand the pots either though? I adjust my volume a lot when I'm playing depending on the sound I want to achieve surely this would be almost impossible?

Hey thanks for all the comments guys About the pots, They're not really too uncomfortable as they sit on my belly , but it is kinda weird to get used to reaching around back to turn it up/down. If it gets too bad I can always cut the holes back out.. But I kinda like the look of it

I don't really play live much anymore, but if I do, maybe I can explore volume pedals
