First timer hello, and a question

First off, hello to everyone on the forum. I used to browse it quite frequently but have since been dormant.
My question is, (and I hope this is the right forum for this) I have an RG MIJ 620?? (forget the letters) and the serial# is F0158057. It is the guitar with the piezo in the bridge. It has the older style trem on it, and think its called "cosmo black" or something like that. The piezo pup just quit working on me. I replaced the battery obviously so it isnt that. Is there a known "trouble" with these piezo's, or are they fairly reliable? I looked at Ibanez's wiring site, but I couldnt find the 620 with the Piezo pup anywhere. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks a bunch.

moved to the other ibanez area.

these are pretty reliable. did you do an inspection for a loose/broken wire or something obvious besides the batttery? where are you located? i'm assuming the dealer you purchased from can offer no assistance? ... glen

I inspected as much as I could. If I coulf ind the wiring diagram somewhere, I may be able to ohm a few things out to narrow the problem down. I am located in Maryland, and no, the dealer is of no help. The guitar wasnt even set up right. I went over it after I bought it and it plays great now. I just dont want to take all the saddles off the trem and have to go through all of that. I would just live without the Piezo before I would do that. BTW Glen, do you know what trem this has on it, and is it a good one? It looks just like the trem on my JEM7vwh, but not the low profile. Thanks pal.

i don't have the dealer sheet or 2002 catalog handy but it should be a double Edge trem, which is a fine trem... glen
