How do I make the pickguard smooth again. Got scratches everywhere and I want to get rid of it. What do I need to use to make the surface smooth again. And to finish it, what the best way to use to add some color onto it. Spraypaint? Any Ideas are welcome... Thank You

Otherwise I guess you could always use filler, sand it down, and spray on some random color like any other paintjob... But it doesn't seem worth it...

Depends how deep the scratches are, but you can get rid of light swirls fairly easily, there are plenty of products out there which can do the job.
