Found a 1994 s540FMTK!

Been looking for this guitar for years, and finally saw one pop up on Craigslist in Austin, TX. A month has passed since the ad was posted....but it was fate, as the guitar was still available. The guy in TX was cool enough to let me pay him via PP, and ship it for me, so I gave him an extra $85 for his troubles (and motivation to pack it properly). It's got a chip in it, and the gold is really worn down....but I still snatched it up since I've been looking for this exact model and have been unable to find one.

looks like you might have some trouble with the trem studs but after you get that sorted it should be very very very very nice.

Yeah...they guy mentioned that his tech put in an "after market" stud. But...I've been looking for this particular guitar for so long I couldn't pass it up. Plus...it was only $400.

Nice guitar! Get a good luthier to set in the correct trem stud on the high E side. Unless you can do it yourself, even better!

With all that wear on the gold I wonder how the frets are gonna be when you get it.

He said that the frets are in really good shape. The guy I got it from is a bass player, who grew to hate the floyd rose.
