Free pickguard for a 1991 RG 560 the no pickguard model

Now i have the template for 1987 and the 1991 for the 560 guitar i am ofering some one for free.
Just to get feedback on how it fits.

I made a mistake in the first thread and said 650 it is a 560.

gpenguins is going to be my test subject for the new design pickguard i am making.
Thanks for trying my new part to see if it fits.
It is very hard to create a guard without having the guitar in hand.

The only body i could find on the bay was 135.00.
I sent him a guard and he came back saying my competator did a good job on making it.
when i told him it was not thier creation he never came back to me again with any information.

So it is worth it to me to give one away to test it.
I make 2 templates a 1978 and one that i think will fit a 1991.
I wilsh i could get the years these guiters were made?

Also every one on the forum gets a 10% off when buying any parts from my company.

I am not pushing sales over here just want to get information.

I'll be very interested. I have a 1992 570 that I just stripped with a heat gun (posting pics next week) and I'm giving serious consideration to putting a pickguard on it in the HSS configuration.

I hope it works out for you and your company.

If you'd like to verify gpenguins findings you can send me one. I've got an older square heel 560. I can make any marks necessary to get it to fit correctly and send it back to you.

Ok i have made a new template with the Humbucker pickup mounting in the guard.
I am sending a clear to gpenguins to mark and let me know how it fits.
when he gets that done he gets a free guard for his guitar.
I will pay shipping for all.

Now I have 3 templates made 1 for the early and one for the late guitars with the pot close to the lead pickup for cavity mounted pickups. Now the latest one with the pickup mounted in the pickguard.
I can make it both ways early and late.

I think i have the fit but just need distance from lead pickup to volume pot.
I got an email from the first person i sent a guard to. He said it was just off on the volume pot hole. But his guitar was a 91 and what sent was for a 87.
Ibanez must heve moved the volum pot just like they did on the jems.
Every one kept turning the volume off on the older models.

You've been making Ibz guards for over 10 years and are just now realizing this?

It was because when you depress the bar it comes down on top of the knob.

No i know they changed them i have over 40 templates to make them.
It is this model i am talkng about.
560 the same mistakes were made by Ibanez on all the models.
This is the problem with getting a perfect fit.
If you do not know from what year to what year they made the changes.
I think i mentioned this in here.
Like how long did they make the early one the volume was to close for what ever reason?

I am not an expert on the guitars i just make pickguards.

I may not be an expert on the guitars but i am an expert on making guards.

I almost gave up on making guards for the 7321 7 string guitars untill i came up with an ides to solve the pot and switch movement the over seas guitar makers keep changing.

It looks pretty good on the initial view.
