Hi, I'm Pat and this is my second swirl guitar! I did it myself. PAW gone crazy! No clearcoat yet. Pics do no justice, Colors are much more vivid in real life. !

I was trying to figure out some way to describe I was thinking more along the lines of "dipped easter egg"

RG - Maybe you should change the name to B-day cake, or easter egg swirl

I think that's awesome that you're dwelving in to creating swirls!!! Keep up with it. There are a few more experienced folk around that may throw forth a few pointers if they feel so inclined

Re: Fresh Swirl

Yes, I have been researching and trying to personalize each paintjob. My first blue swirl came with just experimenting and with this next swirl I tried to copy the same technique to get the cool looking runs, spots, and random designs of color. I am EXTREMELY happy with the headstock! I am thinking of pink and green dimarzios with matching hardware. After the clear I am gonna put it up for sale and start ordering more bodies.

Good man the pink and green pups sound a good color match and, yeah, that headstock is sweet
