"Fell apart" can mean anything. I'd be more surprised if it wasn't someone messing with it to get it set up. Trems don't fall apart, and the ZR debate is worthless. It's a good system with good parts and its just different than what you've all been force fed by the industry.

But I guess I'm the same way, too. Because I won't try Floyd Rose's new "Speedloader" bridge. I read he had a heck of a time getting strings made to the tight tolerances needed for that bridge. Right then I checked out. "New special strings? Steinberger all over again, and what if I want crazy gauges or very alternate tunings?" But its probably awesome, and the Transtrem was awesome too. But you get into your ruts and different stuff looks stupid to you when its really not.

so it wasn't ZR's fault.
would you still love your Edge Pro if the messed-up guitar had an Edge Pro instead of the ZR?

"messed up"....."fell apart"

these must be technical terms, right? I think this story is just that; a story, because for some reason you don't like the ZR.

i have a question, are you a snob kind of guy?
i mean, lots of people think they are superior as they listen to progressive or whatnot, and diss what they havent really listened, what they dont really know.
if you havent played a ZR in the best conditions, you havent done anything at all.
use your mind please, and stop spending your time posting such crap.

The ZR is a great trem(though i Don't own one yet) based upon the thimes i was able to try it. Perhaps somebody was messing with the guitar..

I tried that guitar, but didnt really give an opinion on the ZR. not that the trem is a piece of crap but that the korean factory let a piece of garbage guitar out the door
