"Fell apart" can mean anything. I'd be more surprised if it wasn't someone messing with it to get it set up. Trems don't fall apart, and the ZR debate is worthless. It's a good system with good parts and its just different than what you've all been force fed by the industry.

Floyd Rose's new "Speedloader" bridge. I read he had a heck of a time getting strings made to the tight tolerances needed for that bridge. Right then I checked out. "New special strings? Steinberger all over again, and what if I want crazy gauges or very
alternate tunings?" But its probably awesome, and the Transtrem was awesome too. But you get into your ruts and different stuff looks stupid to you when its really not.
