Got My Black RG565 refinished

Repainted black at wilkins guitars in LA, they did a great job. Redid all the hardware to Cosmo Black. Well almost, anybody got the lock nuts and screws? Do NOT want to drop 50 bucks on those three little bastards. What do you all think? I liket he cosmo hardware onthe black paint. Dropped a Dimarzio Area 58 inteh neck, and a Alnico PRO II in the bridge.

That's what pat said, the guy who painted it. There were several large chips on it, and with matching dot inlays in the neck, I felt it had to stay black. Not to mention I hate cheesy repaints. Now it looks like a new guitar!!!

The neck was originally very clean, it's had no work done to it.....yet. I believe at some point it was refretted or just hardly ever played. There are almost on finger marks on it, which is weird for a maple board. That was one huge point for me to get the body redone, because it really does look almost new now. Can't wait to get everything wired and set up!!!

Nice job.

565 is one of my faves. I dislike the pickup ring also, and if I can be really nit picky for a second, the volume knob is a bit too close to the pickup.

Other than those minor points, I think the 565 is great.

That looks great. If any guitar should be painted black it should have a maple fretboard so there's some contrast.
