glen: i'm looking forward to your review and huge amount of high quality pics. they still don't arrive here, but if the price is about 70% of a rg570 (like it seems to be in online US stores) i REALLY would consider it.

I'll have pics of mine on my website shortly (within the next day or so).

If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. Tuning stability, even without locking tuners, has been quite good (in case that's the first question).

I had a post in the Tech section about my customized RG421. I went this morning and for some reason the pics werent there, but now they are again!!

There is my custom RG421 and RG7. The 421 is worth EVERY penny (and many more!!) I want 2 more. I light blue like that 7-string, and maybe a white with black hardware or gray nickel type finish.
